Kasama-no-Inakichi was appointed as a mascot character promoting Kasama Inarizushi,named after Kasama Inari Shrine, one of the three largest Inari shrines and his birthplace.He is also active as Kasama Special Tourism Ambassador.
He is working hard every day to promote the treasures of Kasama and Kasama Inarizushi!
Who is Mashikotto?
Mashikotto is shaped like a human palm, coloredin green—a color symbolizing therich natural environment of Mashiko. An image of Mashikoware, for which the town is famous, is depicted in the center of the palm. The mascot character was designed to express the image of the people of the community,striding hand in hand into the future.
